Ocaya Herbert aka Crazymind Original is a Ugandan-based performing artist, educator and agent of change. One of the most dynamic voices in Gulu, which is a city in Uganda, Herbert live-show seamlessly blends the genres of Hip Hop, Afrobeat, R&B, Afro-house, Afro-tech, Deep house, Traditions, Techno, Electronic andAcholitronix music.

Music to give audiences a rhyme-fuelled, soul-driven, experience unlike any other. He has inspired and moved crowds throughout the Uganda and abroad.

He has independently released couples’ songs with a mixture of acholi tradional sounds and electronic sound to create a genre called Acholitronix.

Herbert is a man on a mission to inspire the despondent and educate the unacquainted. He uses his unique brand of edutainment to redefine the traditional Hip Hop show experience.

As a DJ, Crazymind is known for his unique style that is a mixture of Hip Hop, Funk, Rock, Pop, House, EDM, Acholitronix, Afro-house, Deep House, Afro-tech and African Traditional music. His ability to read crowds, coupled with hisimpeccable song selection have been moving audiences to dance since he first started as a Break dance DJ in 2016. He has years of experience working on turntables and DJ controllers.
